Help for Travel itinerary

Can anyone help me for Travel itinerary?
in case if i dont have any travel agent how can i arrange an itinerary?
do i need to book tickets for round trip?
or its enough to put planned itinerary on a word document and attach it with TRV application without making any bookings etc?

an itinerary is a list of places you will visit and things you will do during a period of time. So get one together.
