Dear friends,
I want to reserve my rooms in a guest room of Toronto and they are asking my credit card details for reservation. What they wrote in email go through it............

Account holder’s name

Credit card holder’s name/type of card/number/expiration date

Home address

Number of guests in the suite

Arrival and Departure date

*We use the credit card to hold the reservation – room will require payment upon arrival.

Is this safe or what are the other ways for reserving?
Your guidance would be appreciated.........
Thanx.................

Almost all hotels in Toronto require your credit card information to secure a reservation.

Often you can do this through the hotel's online reservation system. If the hotel does not have an online reservation system (many smaller or independent hotels will not), then you typically have to send this information via email or provide it over the phone.

There is no problem in providing he asked details about you and the credit card.
But never give the three-digit card security code which is given on the other side of the card, next to your signature space. You are aware that it is asked only during online payment.
