help..does the valid working permit can guarantee my entry to canada from US

hello, i left canada last year and had been working in us for one and half year. Now i want to travel back. My entry visa had expired hello, i left canada last year and had been working in us for one and half year. Now i want to travel back. My entry visa had expired however, i am still holding a valid working permit.
Based on the visa exemption law ,3,f, on cic

I think people are allowed to enter canada by holding the working permit if they only travel to US .
I just wonder whether my case is applicable. I am working in US instead of traveling.

Yes, as long as you haven't left the US in the past year and a half.
