I applied for a new study permit for masters starting in fall 2025 (September 1 2025) on November 26, 2024 using the extension application. I'm changing DLIs. My current one expries in September 2025 but I'll graduate my bachelor's in April 2025. Can they reject this application for applying too early or not giving PAL (I don't need PAL for masters at the moment) or having a conditional offer? I applied this early (10 months before expriy) because I can't use my current one for the new DLI. I explained all this in my letter of explanation.
Also by when can I get a decision, it's been almost 1 month now since I applied. I know processing time is 160 days but do I really need to wait till May next year??
Lastly just in case my new study permit application (for which I used the extension form) gets rejected, I can still complete my bachelor's using my current study permit, right?
