Help defining Canadian Experience.

Can I take the below as Canadian Experience? Or will this still be treated as foreign work experience, or self-employed work? Is it a requirement that the company must be located and registed as a Canadian company?

1. Working as a remote/homebased employee with Canadian Open Work Permit (obtained while spouse is on Study Permit) for a US-registered company.

Others can comment as well but for me Canadian work experience means working for a Canadian company in Canada. Not working in Canada for a non Canadian company based in the US or any other country.

This will be classified as foreign work experience. Yes - there is a requirement that the company have business operations in Canada and be registered here.
