Hi Guys,
Started working on gathering docs required to apply my spouse's PR - outland, an Indian citizen currently living in the US. We are Indians and had our civil marriage in Nov '19 where both of our family members were present in addition to some guests. We registered our marriage in the US but we have not had our big fat Indian wedding yet as we haven't been to India since. However, we plan on having one by end of the year - invitation cards, hall bookings, date, all of that has happened already for the big fat wedding ceremony.
My question to all of you is this - since we haven't had the big fat wedding yet, we do not have those photographs as proof. But we have photographs of our civil marriage. How do you explain this to IRCC? Can someone please send me the format of your explanation letter if you've been in a similar situation and has had the application approved? Really need some clarification as to how I should approach this matter.
Thanks.
