Hi Guyz,

Does anyone know a way to speak to an agent when calling CIC. I have been trying to reach a CIC agent them through their contact number (1-888-242-2100), but their is no option to speak to an agent during the call. Is there any other number which i can call to talk to an agent?

Thanks in advance.

Thats a good question, if someone could answer that question it would also help me out.

unfortunately no . thats the only number they can be reached at . you can send them a CSE and see if they can reply back .

I did send them an email a week ago but still haven't got any reply.

They generally take a minimum of 10 business days to reply. You have to realistically expect delays this past week and this coming week due to staff taking holidays over the Christmas/New Year.

You should get your reply after 4 January 2016.

I have called this number and talked to them.. you hav to chose the option of express entry ..then press 0 to talk to them. I always call on this number and talk to an agent (though the answrs are hardly satisafctory)

From personal experience I can tell you the answers they give range from:

1) Referring you to the website
2) Encouraging you to submit a CSE which you have already done

3) Saying something as along the lines of 'that's a good question but I can't help you'

Calling them is a waste of time.
