Hi,

Can anyone please help me. I'm a financial advisor for sun life and my job duties matches Noc 6231, insurance agent, noc 'b' code. However, this position is a self representative of Sunlife. This means its a self employment but I can only help clients with sun life products.

Can I still apply for the canadian experience class? Thanks for all ur input.

Thanks for the reply. I am considered self employed but paid 100% commission by the insurance company.

No, self-employment experience is not eligible under the CEC program. You might want to check out the provincial nominee program for the province where you live/work...
