Since you did not send your citizenship application, you no longer have to request CBSA report yourself. In the citizenship application form you can give consent to CIC to get the CBSA report on your behalf.

As per Intel the Citizenship Application form now has a section where you consent for CIC ask for your CBSA entries. Many applicants are still applying to CBSA prior to applying to make sure the dates they have for entries match CBSA dates and reduce the risk of an RQ though this in itself will not prevent an RQ if there are other triggers for concerns about declared absences.
