I'm in the final stages of my PR application (submittted through express entry under FSW). I received a letter on 7th March from the reviewing officer via my CIC account requesting additional information on my duties and responsibilities in my previous employment with a 20 day deadline. I was ready with my documentation last week, but realised there is no upload button/option to submit my documents via the cic account. I followed the steps of going into my account and then going to the screen where I originally uploaded the documents (just after view application details). I've cleared the browsing history, tried different browsers and different computers, but it didn't make a difference.
I logged the "Report a technical issue" and uploaded my documents along with an explanation through the "case specific enquiry form" on thurs 17th March. I even sent an email with my documents to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca last night. However, it may take a few days for them to process it and the deadline is Mar 27th. With a few days left and the long Easter weekend approaching, I am getting increasingly nervous that the technical issue will not get addressed in time or they may not consider the information I submitted via the case specific form/ CPC-O email. I have been trying to talk with a CIC representative over the phone since thursday, but I constantly get an automated message that the CIC is facing high volumes and to try again later (it then automatically disconnects).
There have been similar threads in this forum, but they are from a couple years ago and there wasn't any update on what eventually happened. I would be so appreciative if anyone could advise me if there is anything more I could or should be doing. Or if anyone has had a similar experience and how did it work out.
