currently, I with my wife prepare the IELTS test, for Express Entry, but I have a question whether my wife should have a language scores? could she deliver the application with me without language scores?

is there a negative influence on our application?

or if I landed in Canada alone, could my wife land in later via family sponsorship?

what's the difference between two choices?

thanks.

To have your wife to do ielts will boost your score and if she doesn't want to then there is not special requirement.
There won't be negative influence on your case.
Your wife can come later as she will also get visa and COPR at the same time as you.

Yes, there is a negative impact on your score if your wife doesnt provide IELTS and is included in your application as accompanying spouse.
The only way you can avoid this would be by putting her as non-accompanying spouse. This way, she wont lower your score but she also wont get PR same time as you. You would have to sponsor her later after landing in canada. Please be aware that spousal sponsorship this way takes long time ( 12 months or more) and has financial requirements that you can look up on cic website.
Good luck
