Help!!! Can my spouse open work permit be canceled if my spouse leaving Canada??

Please give any piece of information about it..

I'm not an expert but I can tell you what I know.

Is your spouse leaving Canada for good or just a holiday?

Basically if they have a TFW visa and you were issued an OWP based on this TFW visa it could mean that yours would be cancelled when they leave as your visa is linked to there's.

I'm not a 100% about this but have you looked on the CBSA web site (Canada Boarder service agency) or even ESDC website.

Spouse open work permit is valid till the expiry date,irrespective of the Spouse presence. SOWP will not be cancelled and you can stay legally in canada.

Pavs - It seems like you know what you're talking about.. Are you sure in 100% that my SOWP will stay after my spouse will leave Canada???

It's very important for me to know and I couldn't find any information about it online..

Spouse open work permit is valid till the expiry date,irrespective of the Spouse presence, unless the leaving spouse's work permit is cancelled or revoked. SOWP will not be cancelled and you can stay legally in canada.
