Help - Affidavit Gift Deed

I am seeking some advice. My brother gave me 1/3rd of the amount required for proof of funds for express entry. Can I provide an affidavit gift deed to prove that my brother gave me the money and it is not a loan nor does he have any claim on it?

You will need to write an LOE explaining :
Why your brother doesn't need this money
How will he sustain without this money (his ITR and other savings as supporting docs)

Can some one please tell me if the gift deed or affidavit is accepted as POF for ITA and where can I find more information on it.
