Hello everyone,
First of all thanks for reading my concern. I have completed bachelor of arts in accounting from canada and i have been working in post graduate open work permit for last 2 years in canada within the same company and same position. My job title is accounts payable clerk which is skills category C (NOC 1431), I have tried to change my job title to accounts payable analyst which is NOC 1212. From the NOC list they use the same NOC code for accounts payable analyst and accounts payable supervisor. My duties are not limited, on a daily basis i am performing some duties that match to the other NOC code 1212. So i have email to NOC-CNP @ WORKINGCANADA.GC.CA. I asked them why they use the same NOC code for accounts payable analyst and supervisor? is there any difference? and i have asked them an experienced accounts payable clerk can be qualify for an analyst position? I have listed some of the duties that i m performing on regular basis
However, they replied to me my duties still could fall under NOC 1431, and as i have the education for NOC 1212, So there would be 51% rule would apply for my situation. They said I am in the better situation to decide which NOC code suits best and said simply put 51% duties from the selected NOC.
Now my question is how would be look like my reference letter? i got an reference letter from payroll with my job title (accounts payable clerk 1431), duration, salary and benefits. And from payroll they said i need to have the job responsibilites reference letter from my manager. Because they dont know what are my job duties are. So now, it should be ok if i simply attach a reference letter from my manager and include 51% duties from NOC 1212 and 49 % from 1431 ? Even my job title is accounts payable clerk on the reference letter? Should I also attach the email i have received from NOC-CNP @ WORKINGCANADA.GC.CA? any suggestion please and thanks a million.
