Hello! I'm currently processing PR single applicant. I'm a bit confused now if i should get married before my PR and will just add my fiancé. Or should I wait for me to get PR then get married and apply for spouse sponsorship.anu poba ang mas madali? I'm nov 2013 applicant. Thank po.
truth is, you can never really tell...only time will tell...as of now, the average pr single applicant (assuming you are under lcp) is 13-18months based on the updates/postings in this forum...supposing this will continue (which all of us are praying to be) then you will get your pr soon say 1st to 2nd quarter of 2014...then get married, compute the time you will spend in going back to your home country (if your future spouse is not in canada) and then apply spousal sponsorship which takes about 12-14months....
on the other hand, if you decide to get married, then submit your pr application, the current lcp pr application processing times accdg to cic is 39months...
now, you do the math...good luck and as for me, i've been in that situation....i chose to get married prior to my pr application...simply because i wanted to and i'm ready...c",)
