Iam a canadian citizen living in morocco since the last 6 month I would like to sponsor my husband but currently since i live here i dont have a job or anything in canada. my husband moroccan. i have downloaded the forms from the site but there is a lot of info being asked about my job in canada i was working and i have my papers for rent is valid till july 2009 and i stoped work in 05 september 2008

and here after married they ask about marriage certificate translated from Arabic to French or english, send in your pictures, chat logs, emails and write how your relationship developed. and you send it all in to immigration, about 7 months later you will be contacted by phone or email for an interview date. at that time you should still take in more chat logs and emails to prove your relationship is genuine

pls if you have any iformation send me i need it soon

If you are not currently living in Canada, you also have to send proof that you and husband plan to live in Canada when he gets his PR.

If she can say that she is currently living in Canada but is just visiting you off and on, then she doesn't need proof.

If she is not living in Canada, she needs to prove to immigration with a job offer, rental agreement or something that you both plan to live there when you get the PR. The problem for most people is that if they are not living in Canada, they are not going to rent an apartment there months before they can move or look for a job months before they can move but if you can get a letter offering it to you, that would help. Maybe also letters from family and friends saying that they know you will move and they will help you out and let you stay with them.

From what is says in the application guide, you don't have to have certain income to sponsor a spouse so just tell immigration the truth if she doesn't have a job and is having a baby, just say that.

Since she is still moving back and forth, I would consider that she is not exclusively living outside of Canada, at least not yet, and therefore she should not need to prove that you intend to live there. She can give her address as whatever address she stays at when she is there, parents or otherwise.

The baby will be a Canadian citizen but that will not matter for your application for PR.

You can find the forms at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp The guide is at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3900E.pdf
