i have a question and thank you if you can help me ;D

i need a background check from FBI in order to immigrate to Canada. i checked on their site (FBI) and they dont say u have to send a cover letter with the fingerprints card and applicant information form. is the cover letter still available? i've tried to find a cover letter sample or something that can give me an idea about how i should write it and i can't find anything, especially that i've read u can say in the cover letter that u need it fast and for canadian immigration purposes.

I sent for mine back in August or September and I didn't include a cover letter. The form the police department used for me had room by where my name and everything goes for a purpose for the request and I just put "Canadian Immigration."

thanks...this is what i thought too, but just wanna make sure. how long took u to have the answer?
thanks once again

I can't remember the exact dates, but it was between 6 and 8 weeks to get the record back. I've seen some people post on here that they get it back way faster and some end up waiting longer, seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

now i have one more in mind. ::)

u submitted photos at the police station or office that took your fingerprints? u need to go there only with your passport (ID)?

I just went to the police station in town and just had to show my ID and pay the fee (I think it was $18 for me)
