Hi everyone,
I recently applied for tourist visa wishing to visit my fiance this June. I applied for 6 months multiple entry. I was denied due to the following reasons First : I have not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay.
Second: Travel History - I've been to Australia before under Prospective Marriage Visa, stayed there for 5 months but my ex bf died. He was diagnose with a terminal cancer and I decided to come back home.
I had a best friend for more than 8 years and he's Canadian. He came here to the Philippines last December and we're now pursuing a wedding this year in the Philippines. I wanted to visit him so I can meet his family there then come back here in the Philippines to plan for our wedding. It seems like they denied me knowing he was my fiance and they might think I am not coming back.
Third: Employment prospects in country of residence. I am new to my job as I am a teacher I will be one year in my work even though I had been teaching to various school before for 3 years.
Fourth: Current employment situation - I started working with this new school in May and I will be one year this coming May 2016.
Fifth Personal assets and financial status - Although I don't make much money from my job as a teacher, I have shown proof of income. I have quite a lot in there and I also don't know if that also affected my application for showing too much in there. How much do I have to show? I don't know what the income requirements or money in the bank? I had assets to show - a letter of gift from my mom, she will entrust me with our house and farm when she is no longer alive. It was duly notarized by the Attorney so I have enough funds to sustain my stay in Canada and I also attached a copy of my credit card which has enough funds to use anytime I wanted yet they denied it. I had time deposits showing from 3 years and enough money in the bank.
I am planning to re-apply and this time maybe instead of 6 months, multiple entry, I will change it to 15 days only and I'm thinking putting it a Single Entry and probably purchase a return airfare ticket as well. Does anyone of you know that with this new plan of mine that this will be enough to satisfy granting a 15 days tourist visa.
Questions : My first application - letter of invitation was done by my fiance. I am thinking instead of him doing the letter of invitation, his sister would invite me instead since she is a girl and that there will be any way possible intent of marrying my fiance or not coming home.
Please need help badly.
Thank you so much.
