Hello, our family of 3(Husband wife and a child were on a PR application and it got approved for us for Saskatchewan PNP). We three now have our PR cards also. Our 2nd child is a US citizen by birth. I understand that as parents we need to apply for his PR and get approval and until then then he can be Canada as a visitor (US citizens allowed for 6 months). My question - US citizens can travel and stay in Canada for up to 6 months (no visa required) and meanwhile we will apply for his PR which might take a few months. What sort of extension do we need to apply for after his 6 months are over and we are still waiting on PR approval? There is no visa involved here as he can travel for 6 months showing his passport. Question 2: Does Saskatchewan healthcare cover dependent child if both parents hold PR and health cards or visitor insurance is the only way until we get his PR, apply for health card and get it?
