I have read mixed messages regarding Alberta health insurance and whether I can acquire it with a study visa. I have a study visa, my husband a work permit, and my kids one a study and another a visitor. Do we all quality for Alberta health insurance three months after we land?

Also any recommendations for private health insurance until we get the Alberta one?
