I am Canadian citizen, I live and work full time in Canada.
My future spouse in a U.S. citizen, and after we turn in our outland spousal application, I am going to bring her here a a extended visitor until our application is approved.

Can anyone recommend any health insurance/travelers insurance for my spouse that she can use for 6-12 months?

How would this insurance apply to birth control and if she got pregnant?

Blue Cross is one reputable company:

Health insurance typically covers emergencies. So I would expect that any regular prescription medication (including birth control) would not be covered. Pregnancy coverage is often excluded from health insurance policies. If you want coverage for pregnancy, make sure you read the fine print on the policies your considering and expect to pay a premium for one that will cover pregnancy.
