Health Insurance from India

Hi all,
We have received our PR and will land in Canada soon. My 1 year old baby needs to obtain health Insurance.
Kindly could you suggest which Health Insurance coverage to take from India in order to avail the baby vaccination after landing in Canada until the time we are covered under the government policy.

Medical coverages abroad are usually granted under the International Travel Insurance, they do cover medical emergency funding needs, but, they do not cover vaccination costs.

Medical and Health coverages bought in India, usually do not cover medical treatmenets availed outside India, unless of-course it is one of those very very expensive insurance covers.

Your best bet would be to get your baby's vaccinations in India and/or buy a health Insurance for 3/4 months from a Canadian agency, once you are in Canada.
