Health examination?

Greetings.

I am currently starting to gather papers for an upcoming PR application and one of the requirements is a health examination.

I would like to know: is it mendatory to go through a Panel Physician from the list http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx ?

The only one I can reach from where I live is apparently really bad, and I would like to avoid it as much as I can.

Aw geez. Oh well, can't afford to drive hours to go to other cities (I don't even have a car or a license for that matter).
