I applied for my work permit along with my wife (open work permit) and kid (study permit), WITHOUT having a medical exam first. The company who hired me applied for a GTS LMIA and got a positive result. I was stupid and did not read carefully enough the requirements for 2-week processing and did not take the family to have medical exam prior to submitting the application (medical exam upfront was part of the requirements).

I realized the lack of medical exam could delay my application even further than it already is (it's been 6 weeks since biometric)
I managed to ask other applicants from my country who got the visa and arrived and went the same route with work permit with GTS LMIA. It took about 11-12 weeks. But ALL of them submitted medical exam upfront.

I've just found out that I can use the web form to submit additional document(s) to my application after it's submitted.

So the question is, should I bring my family for a medical checkup and submit the result through the web form so that the process might speed up a bit? Or do I wait till IRCC contacts me and tell me what should I do next?

From my personal POV, my application has a pretty good chance of being accepted and the risk of wasting money on medical checkup is minimal. (how stupid of me to skip this step before submission :( )
Thanks in advance :)
