Health Care expire soon...please help!!!

Hello guys,

I did sent my PR application & Open Work Permit at the same time since 6December 2012. Now my visitor visa will be expire on 19March 2013 which I understand that I will be considered in status as a temporary resident (visitor) until a decision is made on the application. This is known as implied status, is it right?

Today my boyfriend received a letter from Alberta Health Care that I need to fax them my documents before my Health Care ends which will be on 19March 2013 (same date as my visitor expire).

What should I do? Please advise, thank you.

Send proof of your application for permanent residence and OWP (fees receipt, courier receipt, signed copy of the application, etc.) to AHC with a letter explaining your situation and requesting an extension. When you receive the new OWP entry document, send it to AHC and continue your coverage. After that when you receive your PR send them a copy of the COPR to get permanent coverage.
