Hi Guys,
Below is my situation:
I entered Canada 2 years back on a fixed work permit and my wife on an open work permit valid for same duration as mine. Now my old work permit has expired and so is my visa. But my wife's company has sponsored work permit for her and an open work permit for me. But due to an urgent issue I had to return back to My home country, without having my new open work permit and new trv stamped. So now I am back in my home country , my wife is still in Canada and she received and sent the scanned copy of my new work permit to me.
Based on my new open work permit I have applied for the trv here is my home country . I applied for the trv on 19th July and the status is still in process. I wanted to know that will my application be treated as family sponsorship ?? Will my application for trv be treated on priority as I have shown 2 years of Canadian tax statements and 6 months of Canadian employer salary and canadian bank statement.i have shown the same financials of my wife too. My wife as she is still in Canada , she has applied for trv there itself .
