Hi guys

I need some suggestions here. I have applied for the student visa few days ago and i am very concerned about the outcome.

Does having the CAQ increases the chances of getting the visa?? I saw in the forum that in case i have the CAQ the VO will check only my financial status and i already submitted with the application a statement from my bank that i have 3 year old savings deposit which is enough to cover my 3 year tuition and 1 year living expenses. I even paid the tuition for the first year.

Anyone can give me some ideas about this???

Good luck to all of you!

If your are applying for a university in province of Quebec, it is mandatory to obtain the CAQ.

Yes, I am aware of this and i already have obtained the CAQ. What i want to know is that having the CAQ increases the chances of getting the visa?

Not sure, but I believe it doesn't.

I think you don't understand. I'm in Canada now, and I applied for my visa by myself. CAQ is not an optional thing for your application, if you don't submit your CAQ, you can't receive a student visa for the province of Quebec. It doesn't increase your chances for the visa, it's just one of the files that you have to submit to your application.

I hope everything will be fine and you will receive your visa!

Good luck!

Thank you for the reply Sasha_24
The fact is that i have read somewhere here in the forum that being already accepted by the province increases the chances of the visa.
Probably you are right but the anxiety is killing me,because i have already applied for the visa and i am waiting for the answer. That is why i am searching for some suggestion so i can imagine the answer of the CIC.
Thank you for your feedback and wish you the best!

Dude you really don't get it right??

It doesn't increase your chances of visa at all.... There is only two possibilities..

1.- No CAQ: Means no Visa because it is a requirement.
2.- With CAQ: Means that your visa will be processed and the outcome is unknown... It just will depend on whether you meet the other requirements or not...
