Having a child: before or after immigrating to Canada?

Hello everyone, my wife and I are planning to try for a baby in the upcoming 4-5 months, however, our plan is to complete our profile at the beginning of Feb 18 (getting the documents, IELTS, etc.)

My questions are as the following:

1- ITA wise, if we received it while my wife is pregnant, should we change anything?
2- If she delivered after receiving our ITA, what's the situation here to add our newborn?
3- Like most new comers, we will have to find a survival job in the 1st year or so before gaining the Canadian experience, will that majorly affect our income, having an extra person with us and all?
4- Is it better to wait to try for a baby once we're there? I mean regarding health insurance and pertaining matters.

We're in the middle of a dilemma here, we really have no idea about the wise thing to do.

Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

A child born in Canada automatically acquires citizenship. If you don't mind waiting a bit longer, would be easier after you settle.

EE wise, if you have child before ITA, you'll need to update the number of family member in your profile, make sure you have enough funds, and prepare the documents for child
If you have child after ITA, same thing.
If you have child after you submit the application, send CSE to inform CIC of the change and send all the additional documents

Thank you for your kind reply, will the health insurance cover the related expenses? Also, as you may already know, a newborn needs full attention in its 1st year, I don't know how to handle this since we're both should be working full time to provide.

If you become a PR your child will be covered by public health system

I'm sorry for asking you too many questions, please bear with me, I meant the actual birth procedure, hospitals and whatnot. My apologies again.
Public health system will cover the delivery of the baby. I live in Ontario, at least that's the case here. It may differ from province to province I don't know. You might want to do your research for your intended destination.
