Have I need to show any purchase or conversion receipt of cash amount during immigration?

Hello,

We got Express Entry - PR of Canada. I am travelling to Canada in January.
We are landing at Toronto.
I want to bring some cash amount as once we land we need to purchase some house holds. So I thought better to carry some cash amount that we initially require.
One of my cousin live in Saskatchewan, Canada. He is coming to India in next month.
What if he will bring CAD that I require and I pay him here in INR.
I am also bringing more 16000 CAD as proof of fund through Forex Card.
So my QUESTION IS :

Should I need to show any purchase receipt or any type of receipt for cash I am bringing to Canada?

Please guide me through this.

It's better if he gives you Canadian bank draft and you can later encash when you are here in Toronto. It might save you some hassle. Your call though.

It's better if you carry a source of that money meaning if you withdrew money from your bank account to get CAD just carry a copy of the bank statement showing that particular transaction or if you can access same information online than its ok. They might ask you for the source of money or they might not but it is always better to be prepared.

Please guide me through this.
