Have I made a mistake going with Employer PNP rather than EE PNP?

I sent off my employer application in August in Ontario after waiting over 6 months for my employer pre-screen application to be approved.

However everyone seems to be able to apply instantly using their EE profile after getting invites, is my application being placed behind everyone with EE? I am working in Ontario and have been waiting almost a year to just get a PNP letter. This is quite frustrating, should I make an additional application?

I think you can still make EE profile.
If you have a UCI number, that should enable them track your previous application.

I've already paid $2000 already, I guess I would have to pay an additional fee if I did it this way.

It just seems odd that people are getting nominated before someone who is already working in the country for over a year.

Wow, sorry about that. Express entry system seems to be faster than the old method.
If you've invested so much in that, probably best to wait, except the money is not an issue for you
