Have H1 visa. will it effect student visa

I need some information regarding student visa.

I'm for india. I have a H1b visa but never traveled to US. It was my employer who filed and didnt allow to go to us since there was no project. I recently had a B2 rejection. Now i'm planning to go to canada to pursue Masters. will H1b and B2 rejection effect my student in any way. Please advise.

Whether it would affect you or not, you must declare it while submitting study permit application. I had withdrawn one Permanent Resident visa application that was in process and I had a previous tourist visa application declined. For Canadian study permit application I declared both of them with brief explanation. I haven't had any issues and got my study permit approved.

Make sure you do the same. Declare it and explain briefly.
