Hello, quick question here.

I received a parking ticket 2 years ago in Vancouver and never paid it (I know, I should have just paid the damn thing). I am planning to visit this summer for a month. I am traveling via air this time and sold the car that has the ticket over a year ago. Basically, will I get flagged in their system when I go through immigration and customs for this unpaid parking ticket? Thanks for the help.

I would assume that if it shows in their system they might make you pay for it there. You can always google unpaid parking tickets Vancouver and see what the consequences are.

Parking tickets has nothing to do with you entering Canada
I would think otherwise but this is good news. Does it simply not show up in their system unless you were to run the plates of the car? I googled this issue and had mixed responses. Most people were trying to re-enter Canada in the same car that got the ticket and were flagged. I assumed this is because they ran the plates of the car. If I'm flying via air it looks like it won't come up.
