I know......we had friends over when we got back and then went out to Varadero to our first "date" spot and I was contemplating something and he is like baby.....what are you thinking and I honestly looked over at him and said my love...my closet.....I will have to share with you!!!! I haven't shared my closet in a long time....LOL

So I am just so excited that he is here for Christmas!!!!

thank you thank you thank you!!!!! I still pinch myself to remind myself that we are 95% done but the biggest obstacle has been overcome!!! the canadian government....LOL

although you know when they gave him is visa there were like 12 other people and we were all sitting outside and she gave a nice speech about welcoming them to canada.....the forms...etc.....it was really nice!!!

My husband received a call Friday and his interview is October 25, 2012. They have asked for more documentation of time together since I submitted my application in May. I've sent him the flights information from August and September when I was there. We've been together over 5 years; been there over 25 times; so hopefully there won't be any issues. I'm nervous and excited..I read you ordered the GCMS notes; but since his interview is less than 3 weeks I didn't order.

Shuster- Everything seems to be fine for me on my end (I guess we'll see when I hit the post button!).

LuvCuba- Can you tell me when you submitted your app to CIC? And when it was transferred after approval to Havana? I'm just curious because I sent mine in June and was transferred in August, trying to guesstimate when my husband could hear something on his end!

Shuster- Just realized, did you submit your file in January for the first time? From your timeline it seems March (or April)? I think KJG did hers in February though! Besides yours is coming with no interview I bet!

I submitted April 3rd. Received approval July 9th!

Here's hoping to no interview. Lol

Just tried to copy and paste the email I got from cic about his address change and the site won't let me post.

Their response was. "Info added to file. We will not send a response I within case processing times"

I did not receive the generic email from them, so hopefully that means my file is opened etc.
getting really frustrated but I know how they can be.
Hopefully I'll know something by the time I go down on the 26th
If I haven't heard anything I will drop off an envelope with additional proof etc.
