Actually have never been to Santa Clara!! Did he work in Cienfuegos? Are you from Toronto?

I have been to Santa Clara....my first trip to cuba years ago. Had an awesome time and fell in love with the people and culture so much....I just kept going back...to different parts of Cuba..and then the love bug bite me....LOL.......I can so relate Avana about the long distance relationship....my husband and I agonized over this for a year before we decided it was time to s^^t or get off the pot so to speak......and once that decision was made we have never looked back.

How are the fingers Avana....that was some major posting...LOL.....love it.

No he worked in a resort near Santa Clara. I am from the Toronto area. You are from MTL I suppose? I LOVE it there. I love the culture and I love old port MTL. I have only been to resorts in the Santa Clara area. But I have landed at MANY airports before : ) Avana the first one I ever went into was Holguin : ) Had my first Cristal in the smokers lounge (friends we met on the plane made us go in there with them and they bought the beer ;p). My hubby and his family also took me to Varedaro for a day trip in March! The beach is beautiful!!!!! I have REALLY wanted to go to Havana. Hopefully we will go in the new year! I am dying to see the history frozen in time : )

Ladies.....do any of you read ( i mean of course you can read) but if you like reading murder mysteries I have a great Cuban Murder mystery I can send you, if you have an ereader or a smart phone. It is written by a Canadian and takes place in Havana. It is called the Beggars Opera by Peggy Blair. It is a fast read, and gives some interesting views on Cuban laws and culture. I question some of the stuff it says...but again it is interesting. Lemme know if you want it.

KJG- fingers were sore yesterday, but I have recovered this morning! lol, They worked perfectly well checking the mail to hear from Quebec for my next step, but still nothing... :'(

Sassy- Montreal is an awesome city.....with a better hockey team! (sorry, had to ) lol Which hotel did you to in Holguin?? Havana is like my favorite place on earth! I love it so much! Defs worth the trip! As for the book, ill try to check it out, I also recommended another book a few pages back called Es Cuba. Its a true story about falling in love in Cuba and at the beginning of our relationship I couldnt put it down! really a good read and it made me want to go to Havana so desperately! Then when you go you can see all the places they were in which is really cool!!

Yes I love Old Havana......it truly is a living breathing history........but my heart belongs to Matanzas City!!!!

Avana.....down to 169 hours until I see my husband :-* :-* and approximtely 250 hours until interview time!!!!

Definitely super excited...scared....super excited...scared....LOL...

I understand the scared...super excited part, Im sure I would be too! BUT, you have nothing to worry about! He's going to kill that interview and you'll get the Visa same day! I can feel it!!!
