yeah it really is something else......my girlfriend was going there last week and I asked my husband what he would like and you know what he said...bars of soap......they are in short supply there and are cost $3.80CUC a bar.....and he only makes $20CUC a month.....so it's all the little things we take for granted...TSauretBaxter said:

Do you feel safe in Cuba outside of the tourist areas? My grandmother in law desperately wants to go to Cuba, and we have promised to take her. But it worries me a bit, because everything is so different. And obviously she doesn't want to go to sit on a beachKJG said:

TSB....Cuba is very very safe. Havana of course is a big city and should be treated as one still safe there but definitely the all other cities/towns are great. hey lubcuba....thanks I am very excited.......it is the notes that are made on your file by the VO looking after your file.....if there are any flags....and concerns...that is usually noted in the notes........so I will try and order today but they take 30 days to get approx. and I am leaving either the 1st or 2nd of Oct......so not much give there.......but hard to order earlier cause if your file hasn't even been looked at they won't be of help....so almost a catch 22!!!Luvcuba said:
