"Has XY ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry..." Y or N - HELP!

i was out of status and did restoration of status on work permit. It was time when boss didnt get on time LMO. so should i answer on question "Has XY ever been refused a visa or permi, denied entry or to leave Canada or any other country" - YES or NO??thx

Well, were you REFUSED a visa or permit? Did you show up at the border and they wouldn't let you in? Were you ever stopped at a border going OUT? If you applied for a visa, permit, or entry at a border of any country and were denied, say YES. If you were stopped trying to leave a country and they wouldn't let you out, say YES. Otherwise, say no.

They did not ask in this question if you had ever been out of status. If your request for LMO was DENIED, that is yes. If you were momentarily out of status because your boss or CIC acted too slowly, say NO.

i aplied on work permit and during this time i was waiting on LMO/LMIA. i didnt get LMO?LMIA on time so first was CIC with the letter that: This letter refers to your application for work permit. Your application as requested is REFUSED"
then after few days i got LMO (finally) so applied on restoration status-worker with new LMIA.
probably i should say YES on this question

It is clear that you were refused so yes you should say so and give the explanation you stated here.

do you think that the best is letter of explanation in document checklist? because when i put YES form doesnt ask about details. or mayby i should submit all documents and wait for any question from CIC later...if they will ask about something....who knows...

Well they are the ones who rejected you so they would know right? Just put yes and move on

Thx Buddy. they have all my previous applications on wp or restoration status. Before (restoration status on work permit) i attached into form (paper form) explanation. It was almost the same question. So here we go, they can check it. Sometimes on easy questions i need confirmation with others
