Hi,
My name is rather long and is like :
first name: aaaa bbbb
last name: ccccc dddd eeee
in my passport it is written as:
first: aaaabbbb
last: ccccddddeeee
in my WES and most other documents is written as:
first: aaaa bbbb
last: cccc dddd eeee
(so with space)
in some other places like my papers or my bank account it is like:
first:aaaaa
last: ccccc
or:
first: aaaa X.
last: eeee

Now technically I never had a different name it has always been the same name but written with/without space and sometimes omitted some parts (due to length). Should I answer Yes or No to this question? what are the pros and cons?

If says "no" to question then can I just explain the spellings in the LOE?

Choose yes to that question. and input a different name you had in your certificate except passport.

Well at least, you can go to your bank and show them the passport and ask them to edit your name in their system, explain them it may cause you trouble. They may be help you with that.

Now after that, you will have 2 different names (one with spaces and one without spaces). You can go to near notary place, Do a notary stating that those two names belongs to you and you are indeed a one person.

My father and I share different last names and it is not common in my country, I have both of our names correctly in my passport (with different last names). But when I was applying for a student visa in 2010 and he was the one paying for my tuition fees and accomodations for me, so I had notary certificate stating that he is indeed my father and he is paying for my expenses. I was granted a student visa without any problem.

It is better to be truthful about complications you have in your name in different documents even it is just a minor. Do it the right way. You will not have any problem.

Personally, I don't think a space needs all that. An LOE should suffice in this case. There have been cases where for example someone doesn't have a last name on the passport, has their maiden name on their diplomas and full name on work reference. But in this case I think a simple LOE should suffice. Just my opinion, let's wait for seniors

Yes...just need a notarized "one and the same person affidavit". EITHER you can draft it yourself ( sample available on this forum and is also available on google search ) OR a lawyer can draft a fancy one for you.... your choice.
