Has my BOWP been approved or is it a technical glitch?

Hi All

Looking on myCic at the page that has all my applications including my Express Entry application and BOWP application, the status next to my BOWP has updated to Approved where before it said submitted.

However when I go into it via Check Status and Messages nothing has changed

Application/profile status Open
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information Not needed at this time
A final decision has been reached Not Started

I'm not 100% sure I'm eligible for this visa so don't want to call CIC to see what they have to say. Has anyone had this happen to them and it's just an error.? I'm so scared of celebrating in case it's just a technical glitch.

I believe your visa has been approved.
You might get an email regarding approval and shipment of working permit.
Please share your time line.

When my work permit was approved it took 3 days for chic to send a message through my cic after the update says 'approved'. Hope that reassures you.

Thank you both. That helps a bit. Though I'll still be checking mycic on the hour every hour all weekend.

Perhaps approved? November 20

Request for Celpip certificate August 6
Request for Schedule A August 25
Background check has been in progress since some time in August. Medicals passed in September.
Not heard anything since.

I got a message in mycic on Sunday 22nd October with the message saying I'd been approved and they are sending me a letter in the mail. Hope it arrives soon. Fingers crossed Canada Post is on my side!

Hi - What's the processing time for getting BOWP?? Your timelines seems fast...but as per website its taking around 120 days. Please confirm
