I applied for a student visa from Nigeria and I am going into my 11th week, without hearing anything back from the embassy, I have done my medicals and I have passed, I did my medicals 6 weeks ago. I checked online to see what stage my application was, but it kept showing “reviewing eligibility requirements and processing background checks” and it has been on this same level for a week now, so I want to find out, if anyone that applied in April 2018, has gotten their visa back or if anyone can explain this “eligibility requirements and background checks” and how much longer I would have to wait to hear back?
