Has anyone received a call from CIC recently?

Hello,

Last night I received a call from CIC seeking for information regarding my application.
I hung up the phone thinking that was a scam call.

Today I called CIC Call Center to certify if a real office have called, and I was told that the call was genuine. It is on my file.


Has anyone received calls from CIC recently? What did they ask?

What time did u recieve a call and where did u receive it? On your personal number or employer ?

Is it showing up a number? or as "Unknown Number"?

I am the April applicant that have received the call.

The call was made to my cell phone around 6:40pm, No Calller ID.
