Has Anyone had RCMP check completed under 3 months?

Just want to know if anyone was lucky enough to get the RCMP checks completed quickly. Just need a glimmer of hope , that's all.

Doing outland for my spouse. He lived in Canada previously.

Do they do a background check on the sponsor's as well?

I applied inland before and lucky us they didn't ask mine or my husband for RCMP check..but I did passed NBI and police clearance from HK..

and I got my confirmation of permanent residence last May 9,2012

I applied for my RCMP check before submitting my application, wasn't sure if i needed it tho and didn't like the huge wait so sent my application without it (lived in canada for 10 months whilst studying) so hopefully if they do decide they want it from me I will have it by that point! but obviously hoping they don't want it as I have my UK one. And I did read somewhere Police checks from countries OTHER THAN canada which you have resided for over 6 months!
