Has anyone got passport back from CPP-Ottawa after online TRV application?

Hi all, I submitted an online TRV application on June 28, and just sent my passport to CPP-Ottawa yesterday upon their request. I thought it was a matter of one or two days for them to stamp my passport, but, reading posts here has made my heart sink... I have an upcoming trip to France on August 1st.

Could someone who has recently been in the similar situation share the timeline? How long should I expect to wait to have my passport back? Is it an option of going to CPP-O office in person and require the passport, even if it's not stamped? I'm really looking for a solution other than changing my airtickets with Air Transat, which basically means throwing $1000 away since it's not refundable...

Any input is greatly appreciated.

1. About 2/3 weeks for passport return. You probably won't make your flight.
2. There is no public access to CPP-Ott.

Hi PMM,

thanks for your input, but 2/3 weeks after "the decision has been made"? what on earth takes so long... so the processing time posted online does not take into account this period, which means the "actual" processing time (from submission to receiving TRV) of online application is NO shorter (if not even longer) than in-paper application.
