Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Has anyone applying under the FSWP stream who is not currently in Canada and never been to Canada received PPR?

Such progress is unheard of as of now however I am sure that by July '15 you will start hearing such cases (at least PPT requests by CIC).

I think part of the problem there is that the Jobs part of EE wasn't up and working - I don't know if it is yet. The theory is that an employer who couldn't fill a position could get an LMIA for it, then go over to the EE Jobs part and find candidates, finally offering the chosen one 600 points in an LMIA to come to Canada. Without the LMIA, which gives 600 points, or Canadian experience, which also boosts an EE score to a lesser degree, it is hard to get enough points to be competitive in the pool. I don't think it's impossible for the very young with a lot of education and excellent English or French skills, but it's difficult so far.

This particular thread needs to become very active so that we can at least have some timelines to work with. I am sure we don't need to wait as long as July for us to get updates.

@ Hopefulguy: July timeline was in response to question for PPR which is passport request. Of course there will be updates in the meantime but passport requests for visa before that? Slightly optimist.

I am crossing my fingers for June.

Remember that the first set of persons outside Canada would have gotten ITA on March 20. And persons outside in the 481 points and up March 20 batch would be very few since 481 is the maximum you can get without Canadian experience. In fact, the March 20 ITA recipients would have had until today (May 19) to submit their PR applications.

It's very, very early days.

Besides, I suspect that they're prioritising applicants who are in Canada, especially those who have PGWP or BOWP given the two to three month timelines we've seen for some persons.

Yes that's true. Congratulations once again on getting your medicals passed. I agree with you. It is pretty obvious they are prioritising those inside Canada. Some people who submitted in May have already received PPR. I just hope to see some movement on my application this week.

Looks like most "pure" FSW people outside Canada first got their ITAs during March draws. And most of us are still stuck at "background check not started". Hope someone at least have their bc started soon!

You are right to an extent but not all. Some people outside Canada had LMIA and PNP so it just not many.
