I have probably seen 100s it posts talk about this and how Canadians are being ripped off by foreigners. Where they marry the Canadian PR or Citizen just for PR card and change their behaviour as soon as they land.

There are 1000s of these cases. The foreigners then go on social assistance, alimony payments etc. And then they send that money back home to their families while bankrupting Canadians and destroying our Economy. How is this friggin allowed? Why isn’t our government doing anything to solve this? Why do they say go and call CBSA but no resolution. This is full on Robbery!

Has anyone been successful in cancelling their ex-spouse PR for marriage fraud/marriage of Convenience. If I can’t find one person to answer then it truly our government just have that number for show and don’t really care. I will then file a formal complaint and bring it to media attention.

It definitely happens. If you dig around on canlii you can find appeal cases were people are appealing the revokating of PR status for this reason. It can be a bit of a PITA to find exactly what you're looking for on canlii.

I'm sure some don't appeal and just leave Canada once they are told PR has been revoked.

I'm not aware of any published stats for this.

IRCC/CBSA definitely takes a while to investigate these cases and there has to be sufficient evidence that makes it clear there has been abuse on the applicant's end. In some cases IRCC/CBSA can come to the conclusion that the relationship has simply fallen apart - rather than it being a clear cut case of a marriage of convenience on the part of the applicant (e.g. I remember seeing one example here many years ago where there was a disagreement between the families on the dowry which was ultimately what cause the relationship to fracture - don't think IRCC did anything about this one and let the applicant keep PR).
