Has anyone been successful after using POF given as gift? UAE bank letter?

From what I have understood, if my father is gifting me the money, he should write me a declaration that it is a gift.

In addition, do I provide a LOE myself explaining this? What if I had just about minimum amount before, but I got an added amount just to be sure?

The letter from the bank: Does anyone have any experience of local banks in UAE whether they will give the letter with the average of each of the last 6 months? My dad told me that mostly they will not do this... I assume the letter will have to have balance of last 6 months and clearly mention whether any debts/loans etc... (and if there are, it would mention how much)...


So far, I have:
1 - Letter from parent that its a gift
2 - LOE written by me that my father gifted this to me as well, although I have a stable income.... sounds almost like a repetition of the 1st letter.
3 - Letter from bank... still don't know how to arrange for that
4 - Bank statements for the past 6 months
Should I also add my spouse's bank statements anyway? both of us have in single names.. so will it help at all to add his, since he is accompanying?

Is there anything else that I am missing?

yes, you can include the accounts of an accompanying spouse, and yes, the amount is included in your funds total.

As for the gift letter, yes, that is required, but it appears that CIC isn't simply going to take your (and your father's) word for it, you should also have some proof that the amount in your bank account actually came from your father - copy of check, withdrawal from his account & deposit in yours - and/or actual bank statements showing the transaction.

I have a copy of the receipt from bank.. which also has a copy of the cheque.. so will add that..

I have another issue...the company did not pay my salary in July due to a technical error, and will pay July and August salary together by end of August.. do I need to add that also in the LOE? Or it should not be a big deal? Since August will suddenly end up having a double incoming transaction than my usual monthly salary payments...in addition to the amount from my dad... so it seems like August statement suddenly seems completely out of proportion from previous months - although previous months met the minimum required....

How do I deal with that?

So I went to the bank today.. spoke to everyone, including the bank manager...and the conclusion is as follows:

They CANNOT provide a letter with the average per month..
What they can provide is as below:

1 - Letter of no liability stating I have no loans
2 - Reference letter which gives all account details (name/number), date of account opening, branch, IBAN, etc.
3 - Balance statement - stating that I have XX balance on any specific date that I choose
4 - 6 months detailed statement with transactions

In addition, I'm planning to add:

5 - Letter from my dad that xx amount is a gift
6 - Copies of the e-receipts when cheques were deposited.. this includes photocopies of the signed cheques with dad's name and a reference
7 - LOE written by me stating that bank cannot provide this letter, but have been able to provide all the other documents... If possible, I can manually calculate monthly average and write 6 lines on the average per month for past 6 months (in local currency and CAD)
8 - Spouse's bank statement of 6 months (detailed)


Please advise if above information will be enough? or anything that I can change?

as per new rules of CIC Express Entry- can we show spouse account funds under POFs.

Or we need to show the minimum of POF money under principle applicant's account.

Please help.

Under EE, they appear to be explicitly asking for POF just from the PA.
