Has anyone applied for a US visa using Confirmation of Landing

Hi all,

I have strong ties to Canada and I can prove that to support my visa application, but can I use Confirmation of Landing as a confirmation that I am a landed PR in Canada? or do I have to present PR card to the US visa officer?

In other words, does CoL count as an official document explaining my status in Canada?

Yes, that was the "Golden Ticket" for my wife. We applied for the third time for her US visitors visa and she showed them her COPR, that was what it took. We applied twice before as just TFWs and she was rejected both times.
