Hi everyone,

I am a nov applicant and plan to do upfront emedical exam. I have a baby plan so do not want to wait for the cic request. As cec applicants, who has done the upfront medical, did cic ask you to redo medical? If yes, Could u plz share with your experience and timeline? I am in Dilemma now, debating if I should go ahead and do the upfront exam.

Thanks a lot for your time and inputs.

Are you sure that upfront medical is permitted for CEC? I thought it was now only for Family Class.

The CEC instruction guide clearly says: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp

Instructions

You are not required to have a medical exam until you are notified. Information on the medical exam will be provided to you along with medical forms and instructions on how to contact a doctor in your area who is authorized to conduct immigration medical exams (see below).

No doubt there will be someone on here that knows better.

Yes I have done upfront medicals , and later they requested me again.

Then I emailed them to relocate my medical reports, I had attached my medical receipt in that email, then within 1week I got response from CIC that they had located my medical file and they mentioned will process it

Hi Nikki,
Can you advice how to do upfront medical exam within canada. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi forum members,

I have few Queries regarding upfront medical need your help

1) Upfront medical I can do any stage of my Application process? (once i get AOR)
2) So how to book for upfront medical , As I wil not have any letter from CIC for MR so what I need to ask to dr. office for booking upfront medical? As i understand Dr may ask for reference mail etc.
3) After Upfront medical Against what reference number Dr will send my medical report to CIC (against my AOR File # or UCI #?)
4) Do CIC can ask again MR although I submitted medical report ?
5) Generally medical report dr share with applicant ? (why I am asking this when last year i did Medical fro my WP extension and asked Dr office for report duplicate copy which they are sharing with CIC, he denied it , and said me it is only for CIC, may be this depend on Doctor )
6) Is it really useful to do MR upfront , I mean time we can save or their is some minus impact also

Please suggest

Thanks in advance

If your processing goes over a year upfront medicals wont help, they will ask you to do again. Think of the money you need to pay again.

Thanks for this Point siroccoon :) , but upfront medical will be valid form the day it is conducted ? ex some one submitted application in JAN and in june 2014 did Upfront MR so it is valid till June 2015 . Also Processing goes over you mean Untill we get CoPR or PR card delivery?

Any members for my other Query plz

From the day results are uploaded. I will recommend not doing upfront as there are situations when CIC will ask you for the MR again, and then you have to tell them that you did upfront medicals. Wait till you get the MR and get it done then.

Call up a panel physician and they will need your UCI.
3) After Upfront medical Against what reference number Dr will send my medical report to CIC (against my AOR File # or UCI #?)
They will use both
4) Do CIC can ask again MR although I submitted medical report ? <got the Answer>

You can ask for the copy of your medical report at an extra cost. CIC states the same.
6) Is it really useful to do MR upfront , I mean time we can save or their is some minus impact also
It depends. There are cases where upfront MR's shaved few weeks of the processing time. There are cases where upfront folks are still awaiting their RRPF while other candidates already are getting PPR. Case in point the November thread.

Look inline.

You realize the original post is a year old, right? ;D

Based on your deascription it's easy to realize that , the reason you like to do upfront medical is, you don't want any delay , after medical then you like to 've pregnant because you know if you have to go through medical while pregnent that can delay the process and your child might born in your home country ,but you want the baby born in Canada , so want the or will be in process and baby will grow together and will born in cabana right way and all cost of delivery will coveted by Canada, immigration officer will not have any idea that you are carrying a baby . This is an unethical practice. Those kind of things shouldn't be done for the seck of the baby. Child is a wonderful thing, just mention it.don't think they are the problem . By the way, I can tell you are not in Canada now.

I reused old Post form forum to ask my Query , so may be because of this "Jee786" got confused ;D

I realize now, there are so many woman like that in this forum, they always like to hide the pregnancy just for immigration and then come here and cost tax payer millions for the birth, government should find them and deport along with the kids even tough they are pr or citizens.

Well, if they can manage to get PR, Canada will have to pay for their pregnancy/delivery regardless of them getting pregnant before or after getting PR?

If they can't get PR, they won't be able to come here anyway so you don't need to worry about them..
