Hard time getting Letter of experience

I once worked for an employer for about 3 months in my primaty NOC. I am having a really hard time getting an acceptable letter of experience from them. They are so unhelpful. Since it was only 3 months
Can I just not mention this employment completely from my EE application?

Just mention it in your personal history, no proof/document would be needed
