Hi brothers..
I sent enquiry to London visa office and I asked for withdraw my application. please check my letter and their replied and give me your opinion..

My quesion was:
Dear sir \ madam,
I would like to ask if it is possible to withdraw my application in this stage and get a refund of my fees.

First reply:
Thank you for your enquiry.
Please be advised that in order to withdraw an application, the applicant must submit a signed written request to our office clearly indicating the request and reason for withdrawal. The letter must be sent to the address below. Please ensure that the file number, applicant’s name and date of birth are clearly indicated on the correspondence, as well as the current mailing address including the postal code or P.O. Box number. If we do not receive a written request to withdraw the application, it will continue to be processed.
If your application has passed the paper screening stage you do not qualify for a refund of the processing fees.
However, if the landing fee has been paid, it will be refunded to you. Please be advised that the refund may take up to 6 months to process. Please be patient during this time.
Any application forms and photocopied documents used for the purpose of filing the application will not returned and will be retained on file. All original documents will be returned to the applicant, except for the police certificates

2nd letter is a generic reply ,dont worry about it.

So what is your question? The first email is a reponse to your withdrawal email which they let you know the proper procedure to withdrawal your application...original letter signed, all info and reason why. The second one is just an automated response when someone sends a enquiry about their application.

If you still choose to withdrawal your application you need to follow the instruction.

They didn't answer clearly for my enquery about refund my money if I withdraw application in this stage.

Now, I am worried because maybe they will accept withdraw and never return my money.

They did mention in reply If your application has passed the paper screening stage you do not qualify for a refund of the processing fees
It depends at the time of receiving your withdrawal application at VO (as per their instructions).If your file has proceed to in process ,you do not qualify for processing fee,but they will refund your RPRF ,if it is paid by you.

My advice to you: Dont be frustrated bro,you can improve your IELTS score ,Dont withdraw.You will make it.
God + Hard Work = Nothing Is Impossible.

Brother you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher. The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this said by Dominique Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do'. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.' And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.'

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do'. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.'

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do' to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.'

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

I appreciate your advice.
But I don't have time to attend other exam and I need long time to improve my language. I need 12 points in Ielts and I achieved only 5 points and my total points now are 59 points. So, sure they will reject my application..!!
it is 1400 CAD.. it is better to spend it for my family??

ihosam: sadly, with only 59 points, they will reject your application and forfeit your money. the embassy put it clearly that you will be refunded if your application is not yet paper-screened. unfortunately, no one will tell you whether the embassy paper-screened your application or not. definitely, the embassy won't tell you either.

if, however, they did not paper-screen your application yet, now that you have alarmed them that you might be withdrawing your application and they did not yet receive a formal withdrawal letter from you, they may rush to paper-screen your file. $1400 is quite a lot of money and they may not be keen on refunding it. fortunately, for them, you gave them a golden opportunity to keep it (by alarming them that you want to withdraw).

in any case, like i said, no one here knows if they paper-screened your file. you can only hope they did not yet screen your file and it's a risk you should decide promptly to take if you want to save your money. so make up your mind and if you really decide to withdraw, please email them the formal request before you give them the opportunity to work on your file.

they say, for withdrawal, a signed written request. so email is not an option. but you can also write the signed request, scan it and attach it on the case-specific-enquiry form. you can then post the paper request afterwards.

i'm not sure if you could withdraw your file by email. they said a 'signed letter' and how would you sign an email? others can confirm if they withdrew by email.

this is the case-specific-enquiry form (i assume your visa office is london):

here you can upload any document you would like to have attached to your request. by the way, you could order CAIPS and see whatever they have done on your file. but i think CAIPS takes a minimum of one month to process, and by then it might be too late to recover your money.

as an end note: you may consider withdrawing your file only if you really believe that you won't be able to improve your IELTS score. if you do not mind losing the $1400, you may take a chance by requesting for more time, order CAIPS and improve your IELTS. whether they will give you more time or not is up to them. it's a risk you take (if you believe you may improve your IELTS score). but if not, you better withdraw your file as soon as you can and, at least, get your money back.
