Please before landing am anxious about few things

There are no direct flights to Hamilton, so whats the possible route I should be taking with 2 kids and what are the approximate costs?

What is difference between house rentals and apartments? Are apartments are safe as house rentals? Is kijiji site reliable and can I book a rental house and depend on that site solely?

Thanks for answering in anticipation

Don't be anxious, everything will be fine. People in Canada are way more helpful than any other country.

You won't find a direct flight from anywhere to hamilton. You have 3 options at hand

1) Take a flight to toronto and get a domestic flight to hamilton

2) Take the via rail, Plus point - No restriction to luggage, Minus - bit expensive

3) Take greyhound bus, Plus - cheaper Minus - limited luggage

If you want the via rail which i think you should, take a bus straight from the airport to i think islington or kipling station. From there take the east bound which will be going to kennedy station. Get off at bloor and take the south bound to union station. As you exit to union station, you will get a train to anywhere.

For bus, take the eastbound to kennedy and take the srt to scarborough town centre. As you exit you will find a bus to anywhere you want.

I would personally prefer an apartment as it is more cozy, both are equally safe. Kijiji is fine, check the address in google maps, just write the address in search and use the street view to see the whole neighbourhood and the shopping mall's etc around the address.

Take care and have a wonderful journey

@Mepak, congratulations could you tell me what made you move to Hamilton, instead of Mississauga or Toronto?

Yes you are right, I've heard the same, but how about the employment opportunities?
